In January 2010, Katrina Larkin and Victoria Burns founded the company Beanstalk to realise events and ideas they feel passionately about.

Their first event was a charity gala held at the Roundhouse on February 25th 2010 held in reaction to the Haiti earthquake. 100% of input was given by artists and companies for free, meaning that 100% of the money raised was donated to Action Aid and Médecins Sans Frontières for their relief and rehabiliation work in Haiti. Beanstalk continues to support on going work by Action Aid in Haiti.

The acts who generously gave their time and talents included Paul Weller, Harry Shearer, Mr Hudson, Marcus Brigstocke, Seasick Steve, Bombay Bicycle Club,The Future Heads, KT Tunstall. The event received endorsements from the then Prime Minister and future Prime Minister Gordon Brown and David Cammeron -  it raised over £100,000.

Katrina and Victoria are also the producers behind Nova Festival of Arts and Music
